Ms. Colorado Senior America Pageant

Applications for contestants are now being accepted for the Ms. Colorado Senior America Pageant to be held on Saturday, June 27, at the Performing Arts Complex, Pinnacle Charter School, 1001 West 84th Avenue, Denver.

Sharon Nuanes“Sharon Nuanes has had a year of magical performances and activities with an unbridled spirit of volunteerism; and served her reign well as Ms. Colorado Senior America 2014. She competed last October in Atlantic City, N.J. at the national Ms. Senior America Pageant; and following her performance and final walk as MCSA 2014, she will crown the next MCSA queen in June,” says Debbie Buczkowski, Colorado Cameo Club President.

The Ms. Colorado Senior America Pageant is a non-profit organization created to emphasize and give honor to women with extraordinary talents and achievements who have reached the “Age of Elegance” (age 60 plus). Through the Colorado Cameo Club, these women continue voluntarily showcasing their talents year round performing at various venues in the Colorado Region and serving as role models to inspire and enrich the lives of other Senior Americans, as well as our nation’s youth. Contestants are judged by a panel, who look for the lady who best exemplifies the inner beauty and dignity of a Ms. Senior America. Criteria used is based on a private interview, an evening gown competition displaying poise, a statement that conveys her “philosophy of life,” and a talent presentation that demonstrates that a woman’s accomplishments in music, art, dance, or other talent need not diminish with maturing age. The application deadline is May 15.
