Assistance League of Greeley Provides Uniforms To 5 Elementary Schools

Sixteen members of the Assistance League of Greeley sorted the latest shipment of school uniforms for delivery to 5 Greeley-Evans elementary schools. The shipment consisted of 498 boxes comprised of 6,720 pair of pants and 7,848 polo shirts. The boxes were sorted and ready for delivery in 45 minutes. The total monetary value of the shipment is $67,540. Schools receiving the uniforms include Maplewood, East Memorial/Bella Romero, Madison, Martinez and Centennial Elementary.

The Assistance League of Greeley supports five philanthropic programs including Operation School Bell which handles the uniform program. The programs include:
• File of Life®: medical history profile in wallet size
• Single Parent Scholarships: recipients attend UNC or Aims Community College
• Assault Survivor Kits®
• Warm Up Weld County: distribution of blankets
