The Denver Commission on Aging and the Denver Office on Aging invite you to the third annual Seniors in September on Thursday, Sept. 15, 2016, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Denver Art Museum. This event was created to shine a light on services for older adults in the City and County of Denver, as well as solicit feedback on the efficacy of those services.

Event activities include:

• An address by Mayor Michael B. Hancock
• Important Information on community services
• Engaging Breakout Sessions
• Free catered lunch

This year, Seniors in September offers over 39 participating organizations who offer the opportunity to engage with them and learn about the services they provide. People can attend and/or participate in breakout sessions on various topics of aging. Flu shots will also be available to attendees.

Seniors in September has grown into one of Denver’s signature events. Whether you are an older adult in Denver, or an offspring or caregiver to one, come and see what the excitement is all about – and learn the latest about aging in a fun, casual environment!
