Local Businesses Host Second Annual Veterans Fair

Thrivent Financial and Adamson Funeral and Cremation Services are hosting the 2nd annual Tailgate to Veterans Day & Family Fair! It is on Sunday, November 6 from noon to 3 pm at the Embassy Suites in Loveland.

Festivities include a live band, family activities such as face painting, balloon tying, magicians, and a military tank and other vehicles on display. The Northridge High School Marine Corps Junior ROTC program provides the color guard, and the Chappelow Arts Magnet School choir provides patriotic songs and helps recognize and thank our veterans. Scott James, a local radio show personality and mayor of Johnstown is the emcee.

Tailgate food is available during the celebration for all to enjoy. This Free event is for veterans and family members to attend.

Over 26 organizations are attending to promote their services. Tote bags are given to the veterans and their families with many free items provided by the sponsors and exhibitors.

All veterans and their family members including children and anyone supporting our veterans are encouraged to attend! The staff at 50 Plus thanks all veterans and active military for their service to our country!
