Thrivent Financial’s Mountain Plains Group. Johnstown and Adamson Life Celebration Home, Greeley announce their 3rd Annual 2017 Veteran’s Celebration to kick off Veteran’s Week in Northern Colorado. This year’s theme, Game Day for Veterans, will be held on Sunday, November 5 from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm at the Embassy Suites Loveland. Radio personality Scott James will emcee.
In addition to a program honoring all veterans at 12:30 pm, a live band, family activities including face painting, balloon tying, and magicians, military vehicles, and a life size World War II airplane mockup will add to the festivities. A resource fair featuring 44 related veteran exhibits is available for the attendees.
The Chappelow Arts Magnet School choir provides patriotic songs and recognize and thank our veterans. The Northern Colorado Veterans History Project is also helping to plan and coordinate this event.
Tailgate food will be available during the celebration for all to enjoy. The event will be FREE for everyone attending.
