Project AnimalAid Opens New Boulder Warehouse

Project AnimalAid will celebrate the opening of its new 3,500-square-foot warehouse in Boulder, Colo.— a major expansion that will allow the nonprofit to deliver significantly more lifesaving medical and veterinary supplies to animal welfare partners around the world.

Exec Director Meghan Curtis

The new facility (6595 Odell Place, Boulder, Colo.) nearly doubles the organization’s footprint and could quadruple storage capacity thanks to expanded vertical space. Media are invited for a first look inside the warehouse, interviews, and photo/video opportunities as Project AnimalAid showcases how the new space will improve donation intake, sorting, volunteer work, and global distribution.

In December, Meghan Curtis, executive director of Project AnimalAid, Maya Key, development director of Project AnimalAid, Marcy Thrash, CVT, program director of Project AnimalAid and a group of volunteers will be assembling shelves in the new warehouse followed by moving their medical and veterinary supplies into the new warehouse. Curtis, Key and Thrash will be on hand to assist.

WHY IT MATTERS:
The new warehouse strengthens Project AnimalAid’s ability to: 1) deliver more lifesaving veterinary supplies to more nonprofits worldwide, 2) prevent usable medical equipment from entering landfills or being incinerated, 3) streamline operations with dedicated packing, office, and volunteer areas, & 4) most donor visits, volunteer days, and community events in a professional space

“This move is about more than expanding space — it’s about expanding impact,” said Meghan Curtis, executive director. “The new warehouse represents growth in every sense: more animals helped, more nonprofits served and fewer resources wasted.”

Meghan comes to Project AnimalAid with a lifelong passion for wildlife conservation and animal welfare.
