Even better, Team USA is winning more gold medals with speed skater Jordan Stolz is now a two-time Olympic gold medalist in speedskating — halfway to his goal of four at the Milan Cortina Games — after winning the 500 meters on Saturday to go along with his victory in the 1,000 meter race!

Interestingly Team USA’s pairs skating Ellie Kam & Danny O’Shea is in 7th place in their almost flawless short program. Interestingly, the Japan team who were favored for the gold medal dropped to 6th place after several technical program errors! The German pairs skaters Minerva Fabienne Hase and Nikita Volodin advanced to first place with their flawless performance. The final pairs skating teams will compete in the long program on Monday for the top three medals!
