MedicAlert Foundation Moves Forward

Barton Tretheway, Board Chairman at MedicAlert Foundation, announced that David Leslie has been selected as MedicAlert Foundation’s new chief executive officer. Leslie assumed the new role in early July 2015.

“During this time of transformation within our industry there is no better person to lead MedicAlert than David Leslie,” said Tretheway. “David Leslie is a proven leader with experience in creating efficient and effective growth strategies. His experience with e-commerce organizations combined with the ability to bring people together to achieve a common purpose provides the Foundation with a strong path forward. His vision for how personal medical information and technology will be used and experienced around the world is exactly what MedicAlert needs.”

Leslie is the Founder and CEO of ZippSlip.com, an e-commerce company in the Education Management Industry. Prior to that Leslie held a variety of leadership positions in technology and consumer driven companies including Acting CEO, National Children’s Center, Chairman and Founder, TireVan Corporation and CEO and Founder, Intersect Software Corporation.
