The Clearview Library District: A Good Place to Visit!

What’s the first thing you think of when someone mentions libraries? Books? Well of course the library has books. Did you know that you could check out a drone, a meditation kit or a guitar? Those are just some of the interesting items found in the Explore Kits collection.

If you have a Kindle, iPad or a smart phone, you can check out ebooks or emagazines. You can download or stream music, movies, tv shows and audiobooks through Freegal or Hoopla. The advantage of ebooks and ematerials is that you never pay a fine

Having technical difficulties accessing library materials with your Kindle, iPad or phone? The Library has Tech Geeks who can help.

New in town? Come to one of the Library’s many adult programs on gardening, crafts, cooking, travel and more; to make some new friends.

Need to get out of the house?

Ann King, Library Director

Stop by the Library at 720 Third St. Use the Library’s wifi to get some work done. The Library opens at 9am, Monday through Friday. Mornings by the fireplace are very peaceful.

Babysitting the Grandkids? Bring them to a story time or just stop by to play in the castle. Older kids enjoy coming to one of the after school programs on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Don’t have a Library Card? Getting one is easy. Apply on line at www.clearviewlibrary.org. Stop by the Library or Bookmobile to pick up your card. You will need photo id to get your card and start using the amazing resources available from the Clearview Library District.
