This new history & genealogy room is at its embryotic stage. Johnstown librarians are reaching out to the community, historic societies and genealogy societies to collect pictures; books; local family histories and genealogies, pedigrees and compilations of family group sheets; school year books; vital records; census for the local community; probate and will records; land records; county and city maps; cemetery records; information on local churches; naturalization records; military records; local newspapers; and county histories. Please donate these items to the library. Donations accepted during business hours.
