Annual Tribute to Veterans Program

Thrivent Financial’s Community – Mountain Plains and Adamson Life Celebration Home are excited to announce their 4th Annual Veterans event and resource fair.  To kick off Veteran’s Week in Northern Colorado, “Tribute to Veterans” is Sunday, November 4, from 11:00 a.m.– 2:00 p.m. at the Embassy Suites in Loveland.

In addition to a program honoring all veterans, a live band, family activities such as face painting, balloon tying, and magician, a military tank and other vehicles, dioramas of various military engagements, and a life size flight simulator adds to the festivities. The Chappelow Arts Magnet School choir provides patriotic songs and helps recognize and thank our veterans. Many guests speak about this important day for veterans.

An expanded resource fair featuring many different agencies who all serve veterans in various capacities are available to all in attendance. Remember and Honor and the Northern Colorado Veteran Resource Center are also helping to plan and coordinate our event. Tailgate food is available during the celebration for all to enjoy. Our event is Free for everyone attending and a family friendly event is in store for all to enjoy.

Last year, our Veteran’s event and resource fair attracted 550 guests, including over 200 veterans and their families. The event featured 47 agencies that provide services for veterans and was rated highly by the veterans and their families and the resource fair participants.
