Kate Walker, BSW, has joined Meals on Wheels of Loveland & Berthoud as a Support Coordinator.
“Meals on Wheels is delighted to welcome Kate to our Loveland & Berthoud team,” said Jeffrey Pomranka, Executive Director of Meals on Wheels of Loveland and Berthoud. “Kate brings significant experience to this vital role in our organization and we are pleased to have someone with her background and enthusiasm for this key position.”
“My background in health and human services in Northern Colorado has prepared me very well for this role,” said Kate. “I look forward to assisting clients by developing solutions to barriers that would prevent them from aging in place, and working with both the Meals on Wheels’ staff and outstanding volunteers.”
The Meals on Wheels Support Coordinator is responsible for linking clients and their families with area resources and services, and conducting client assessments every six months.
