Senior Day at the Capitol Rescheduled: April 11th

We were snowed out on March 13th but we have rescheduled for Thursday, April 11th at the First Baptist Church located at 1373 Grant Street, Denver. The event is from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and the new location is just south of the Capitol on the corner of 13th and Grant St. The Governor and Lt Governor are invited along with legislators. The event includes a panel of thought leaders in the areas of mobility and health care that will focus on some of the changes coming that may benefit older Coloradans in the 2020’s, including developing technologies for older adults, and potential impacts on future legislation. Nearly 25% of the people of Colorado are over the age of 60 – together we can become a BOOMING voice. Colorado Senior Lobby with you on board works to improve the health and well-being of Colorados’ older adults. Become a participant in the policies impacting your life. Questions? Call 303-832-4535.
