The Senior Hall of Fame, which will be held May 4th, 2019 at the Greeley County Club, is rapidly approaching. During this event, the Greeley/Weld Senior Foundation (GWSF) will recognize 3 outstanding Weld County volunteers for their dedication to the community. Grants are also given to Weld County Senior Centers to improve their programs and purchase needed items. Since 1991, GWSF has generously handed out $6,000 – $12,000 every year.
This year’s annual Hall of Fame event is going to be different than the rest! The Weld County Area Agency on Aging and Pathways of Northern Colorado have partnered with GWSF in order to properly recognize those that do so much for the Weld community. This year, wear your Derby hats and clothes and bring your family and friends to the Greeley Country Club to enjoy a Kentucky Derby themed celebration with music, dancing, big hats, photo-booth, cash bar, and full breakfast. The Hall of Fame will be from 10 am – 1 pm. Seating is limited, you must reserve your spot ahead of time by calling Alex Cox at 303-833-3660 x 117. $5 at the door, cash or check only.
