The Bridge At Greeley Honors Veterans

Recently, National BBQ Day was celebrated at The Bridge. Residents, veterans, family, friends & staff were invited to a delicious BBQ lunch and delicious it was! Music by Dee Perkins was very enjoyable entertainment. The sing-alongs were fun! And, Dee has fun playing the piano. That was obvious, indeed.

After lunch, everyone gathered in the main dining room for recognition and special presentations to the resident veterans.

The Bridge teamed up with Pathways Hospice to honor the veterans. Each veteran was recognized and presented with a military cover of their branch of service, a personalized Certificate of Appreciation and a Star from a retired US Flag. The presentations were made by Pathways Hospice volunteers who are veterans themselves.

The affair was exceptional in every way. And, without a doubt, the honored veterans richly deserved the “Thank You” for their service to our country. God Bless Them!
