Complete Home Health Care’s 1st Annual Chili Cook-off was a “complete” success… according to all who attended: staff members, business associates, and friends. Everyone was invited to taste a variety of creatively pre-pared chili’s: Chili Verde Extra Caliente, Cheater’s Chili, Chuck Wagon, Hippie and Chili, Chili Bang Bang and more. Some milder, mild and hot & spicy. Judging was done based on several different categories. Those in attendance enjoyed themselves and had fun. Plenty of laughter was easily heard. Word has it there may very well be a 2nd Annual event.
The event was to benefit PROJECT HOPE, a joint program of Boulder Housing and Human Services and Boulder County Area agency on Aging. The goal of Project HOPE is to enable frail older adults to rent safe and affordable housing in their Boulder County community with services they need to live with dignity and security.
