ALG Distributes Over 1696 Blankets

Assistance League of Greeley’s philanthropic program “Warm Up Weld County” distributed over 1696 blankets to 24 Weld County agencies, organizations and area schools. The blankets go to individuals and families in need.

Funding for this program is provided by Assistance League of Greeley’s yearly budget, grant funds and individual donations.

Our main funding source comes from the Bargain Box Thrift Store located at 1706 9th Street, Greeley.

Through our communities generous donations and our loyal patrons we are able to provide single parent scholarships, File of Life, assault survivor kits, Operation School Bell, and Color Me Weld.

The Assistance League supports local businesses when purchasing blankets. This year’s community partners include Tausha and her staff at the 10th street Walmart, and Jose Mesa for the use of his building.
