Ride Free Lafayette going FARE-FREE for the rest of 2020

If you’ve taken a trip with us recently, you may have noticed that we are not collecting fares. We eliminated fares in April in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The past few months have been hard for all of us, and we recognize that many in our community have been financially impacted by the pandemic. We aim to be an equitable community transit agency and acknowledge that charging a fare may create a barrier for some who wish to access our services. Because of this, we have decided to continue operating on a fare-free model through the end of 2020.

If you would like to help us offset the lost revenue, please consider donating to the Help Our Neighbors Fund.
