Rocky Mountain National Park Road Report

On the east side of RMNP, US Highway 36 at the Beaver Meadows Entrance and US Highway 34 at the Fall River Entrance are open to Deer Ridge Junction, and US 34 is open west to the Hidden Valley area. The road to the Alluvial Fan has also reopened. Beaver Meadows Visitor Center and Fall River Visitor Center are open.

On the west side, US 34 at the Grand Lake Entrance has reopened to the Colorado River Trailhead. Kawuneeche Visitor Center is normally closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and will reopen tomorrow as scheduled.

Bear Lake Road, Wild Basin Road, Longs Peak Trailhead Parking area, and Moraine Park Campground remain closed.

Park visitors should prepare for winter driving conditions with snow packed and icy roads. All wheel drive and 4-wheel-drive vehicles are advised.
