Close The Gap Project

Caring Senior Service has launched the Close the Gap in Senior Care movement, a multi-year effort to address under-served aspects of senior care like safety issues, caregiver shortages, etc. so that aging adults who want to live at home may do so as safely as possible, for as long as possible.

In cycling, riders “close the gap” between themselves so they can draft off each other to get farther, go faster, and reach peak performance as a team. That concept epitomizes how all of us can work together to help seniors safely and happily age in place.
Close the Gap is a call for community leaders, entrepreneurs, innovators, agencies, and the public at large to help ensure that seniors have access to the support they want and need.

CEO and founder of Caring Senior Service, Jeff Salter, is sharing the Close the Gap movement by embarking on a 9,000-mile bike journey across the country. His goal is to raise awareness of the issues in senior care and help spark national conversation about how we can all work together to close those gaps
