Grace Pointe Highlights for 2021

Grace Pointe Senior Care Community is a local family-owned senior care community in Greeley, Colorado. Kicking off 2021, Grace Pointe received their first round of covid-19 vaccines for all staff and residents. By spring, Grace Pointe had completed six covid-19 vaccine clinics that they received under the CARES Act, where the vaccine was administered free of charge and on a priority basis.

In the summer of 2021, Grace Pointe featured their partnership with Andrea Scandrett at Dementia Together in their quarterly C.A.R.E. Report, which is Grace Pointe’s commitment to transparent care. Grace Pointe also helped raise funds for and participated in Relay for Life of Northern Colorado.

September brought more fundraising to Grace Pointe, as their residents made homemade bracelets to support the community’s Alzheimer’s Walk to Remember team. In the fall, Grace Pointe was one of 11 recipients in he state of Colorado to receive the Telligen’s Blue Ribbon in covid-19 Vigilance Award, an award presented to nursing homes that have committed to policies and processes to prevent the spread of covid-19, as well as staff vaccination rates of at least 85% and resident vaccination
rates of at least 95%.

In the winter, Grace Pointe participated in the Adopt a Grandparent program by Merry Makers. They also received a visit from Carrie’s Cause and raised funds for the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra poinsettias, bringing holiday cheer to the campus. Grace Pointe ended the year by searching for new team members to join their team of compassionate caregivers.
