The 2015 Ms. Colorado Senior America Pageant is on June 27, at the Performing Arts Complex, Pinnacle Charter School, 1001 West 84th Ave., Denver. The Ms. Colorado Senior America Pageant is a non-profit organization created to honor women with extraordinary talent and achievements who have reached the “Age of Elegance” (60 plus), and who would love to continue using her talents to enrich the lives of others. All contestants become members of the Colorado Cameo Club (CCC), the supporting arm of the pageant.
CCC is vibrant, youthful senior women who give much to the community and perform in show-cases to fund the pageant. Showing great commitment, 4 members are 90 years and over and still actively contribute.
Norma Rachlin (pictured right side above), 92, paints her lovely landscapes and seascapes, and is selling 12 of them at the Pageant, proceeds donated to the organization.
Ginny Butler (pictured left side above), 90, a tap dancer who competed in 2006, and still lights up the stage, appearing in every pageant, this year is her 9th, and performs at showcases. Henrietta O’Brien, 91, singer and B.J.
Rembe, 90, pianist, are also still very active in the club and perform in showcases.

During the pageant, contestants are judged by a panel. The criteria is a private interview, on stage in an evening gown and stating her philosophy of life, plus perform a talent. After being crowned Ms. Colorado Senior America 2015 by Sharon Nuanes, Ms. Colorado Senior America 2014, the queen competes in Atlantic City, N.J. in October, for the national title of Ms. Senior America.
