Fort Collins High School-Poudre High School 50-Year Reunion Announced.

Classmates dusted off “them ol’ Chevys,” retrieved pompoms, letter jackets, to finalize plans for this fall’s combined 50-year reunion of the Fort Collins and Poudre High School Classes of 1965.

The year 1964-65 was marked by war in Vietnam, Beatlemania, introduction of the Skate Board, $0.31 per gallon gasoline, and division of long-time classmates into 2 graduating classes. FCHS-PHS’s class of 1965 declared themselves as a bit unique—maintaining class ties through the city’s Club Tico. The combined FCHS-PHS Class of 1965 has held joint reunions for the past 40 years. “We have school pride but are more than just graduates of Fort Collins or Poudre High Schools; we are 1965 FCHS-PHS graduates,” commented Bill Busch, planning committee member.

50th reunion activities are scheduled for July 31. Classmates can choose from Golfing, Club Tico FAC, School Tours, a 50th Reunion Celebration, and 50 Year Club gatherings.

Registration for FCHS-PHS 1965 Class Reunion activities is due by July 15
