The 98th annual Weld County Fair is July 27th through July 31st at Island Grove Regional Park in Greeley. There is no admission charge, no parking charge and all activities are free!

Every day there are people enjoying free Wagon Rides around the park, face painters who stay busy with giggling children, hands on activities, and WOW Bubbles where kids can have fun on the water and not get wet! There is a variety of food concessions and a vendor midway!

Visit the 4-H Building and see exhibits and projects that the 4-H and FFA youth of Weld County have created. And don’t miss the Open Class exhibits on the west side of the Event Center. Find everything from jams and jellies to woodworking, quilts to ceramics! Everything is made by Weld County citizens of all ages. The east side of the building is where the crops, vegetables, fruits, and herbs are displayed, all homegrown by our exhibitors. New this year, are flower entries in the historic Bunkhouse at Island Grove, so be sure to hop the wagon ride and visit there too!

Beginning on our official KickOff Day, Wednesday, July 27th, Make the Weld County Fair Part of Your Summer Plans there are livestock shows every day. Goats show on Wednesday, dairy cattle and lambs on Thursday, poultry, rabbits and beef on Friday ending the week with swine on Saturday. The entire fair schedule is at www.weldcountyfair.com.

Centennial Village, located adjacent to the fairgrounds, is open Friday, July 29th through Sunday, July 31st, admission only $1. Spend as long as you would like exploring the Village.

On Friday, July 28th, Noble Energy hosts Senior Day at the Fair Pavilion. Games, entertainment and a free lunch for seniors attending the fair. Event is by Noble Energy employees who have as much fun as the seniors!

The last day: Sunday, July 31st, the community is invited to celebrate another great year at the fair parade, followed by a free BBQ at the Pavilion, at 11:30am with entertainment provided by the DooWah Riders who play high energy country music with a Cajun twist! The award ceremony follows, recognizing youth winners.
