Larimer County Office on Aging Many Resources

The mission of the Larimer County Office on Aging (LCOA) is to empower older adults, adults living with disabilities, and caregivers to achieve their highest quality of life. LCOA can provide a roadmap to resources and services in the community. LCOA staff are knowledgeable about community resources and can assist with information and education so that a person can make decisions for themselves, or that of a loved one when considering options for long-term services and supports. Support can also be provided to family caregivers and grand family caregivers with a focus on caring for yourself while caring for another.

About LCOA

Assistance is available to complete Medicare Savings Program (MSP), and Long Term Care Medicaid applications. If an individual, or their loved one, is in need of help in an assisted living or skilled nursing facility, the Ombudsman Larimer County Office on Aging staff are available to assist with problem solving and advocacy.

Additionally, staff can help with setting up homemaker and chore services that assist individuals to remain independent in the home. Staff can direct individuals to many other services in the community supported by grants through the LCOA such as transportation, home delivered meals and more.

The Answers on Aging Resource Guide, published annually by LCOA, is a comprehensive directory of community resources for older adults and adults living with disabilities and is now available in both English and Spanish. We are here to help with the
expected, unexpected, and everything in between.
